Drummer Chachi Riot says they've been playing the same bunch of songs for three years, so having new tunes to insert into their set will be great. They're playing the single "Trenches" at shows now, but are holding off until after Onyx comes out May 14th so fans have a chance to hear the new material. Riot adds, "It just makes me anxious. Every night I want us to play more new songs."

Pop Evil continue their current tour Wednesday night in Hagarstown, Maryland.

KISS: Another Ribbon Cutting for S&S

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley will open another of their Rock & Brews restaurants on May 8th in California. This one will be in Torrance on the Pacific Coast Highway. This is the second L.A.- area location. The other, in El Segundo, California, opened last April, followed by the one in Los Cabos, Mexico, which opened last month.

Stanley says, "We continue to expand Rock & Brews worldwide with a commitment to building a family-friendly atmosphere that serves exceptional food along with a broad selection of craft beers. We offer incredible value in a fun, energized rock-themed environment."

There are four more in the works -- Los Angeles International Airport, which will open this summer; Maui in the fall; Agoura, California, also in the fall; and Kansas City, Missouri early next year. The grand plan is to open 100 over the next five years.

DAVID BOWIE: Ex-Oasis Man Says He's Got Another Album in the Can

It's only hearsay right now, but Noel Gallagher claims he's heard that David Bowie already has enough songs recorded for a whole 'nother new album. On Sunday, the former Oasis guitarist told the U.K. rock station Absolute Radio that "according to people [he's] spoken to," Bowie laid down close to 30 songs during the sessions for his recently released album, The Next Day, which came out in early March.

Gallagher's information seems to start and end there, but never short on opinions, he offered that Bowie "could disappear for another 10 years or there could be another album. He might do the greatest tour of all time or he might never gig again. Who knows?"

In spite of Bowie's denials, the idea that he might tour seemed to gain some traction recently when his wife, Iman, may have let it slip in a recent magazine interview. Speaking about their daughter, she said, "We'll have to go visit him, but we won't be on tour with him because she's in school."

ROLLING STONES: You Can't Always Get What You Want

The Rolling Stones are being forced to start their 50 and Counting tour a day later. Originally scheduled to start May 2nd at The Staples Center in Los Angeles, it will now kick off on the 3rd because of the NBA playoffs. Both the Lakers and Clippers call the Staples Center home and both are in the playoffs. Tickets for the 2nd will be honored on the 3rd.

ROD STEWART: Open to Reunions With Faces and Jeff Beck -- Maybe At the Same Time

Rod Stewart has his own new album to promote and Ronnie Wood is currently rehearsing for the Rolling Stones' tour, but Rod tells us that after that's all over he'd be open to revisiting both of his and Ronnie's previous bands -- The Faces and The Jeff Beck Group. Not only that, but he thinks they can kill both birds with one stone -- that is, do a joint show featuring both bands.

SAMMY HAGAR: Happy Anniver$ary

Yesterday marked the 23rd anniversary of Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

He said, "Wow I can't believe it. I wanna thank the Red Heads from around the world for the success of the Wabo -- it's all your doing. This is far beyond a dream I had and much more than a business to me. It's become a way of life for me/us. I can't wait for the Birthday Bash [in October] to celebrate with ya. Or we can do it in Lake Tahoe, which is nine years old. Wow! Get ready Red Heads, we got some partying to do. Eeeeha! Muchas gracias."

Cabo means cape in Spanish, and Hagar shortened wobble to wabo.

When Hagar founded Cabo Wabo, he did so in partnership with Alex and Eddie Van Halen and Michael Anthony. When it became apparent that this was not going to be financially feasible for the band, Hagar bought out the others and has been laughing all the way to the bank ever since. Cabo spawned Cabo Wabo Tequila, which Hagar sold in 2007 for $80-million. And he has since opened Cabo Wabos in Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas.

JACK WHITE: Hear his Recording Booth

Jack White has posted a song he did in the Third Man Recording Booth Saturday for Record Store Day on Saturday.

The refurbished 1947 Voice-o-Graph allows users to lay down up to two minutes of audio, which is then pressed onto a six-inch vinyl disc. White tested the booth out by covering Loretta Lynn's "Coal Miner's Daughter." Stream the ancient-sounding recording at the Third Man Records' SoundCloud page.

White wasn't the only well-known musician to use the booth over the weekend -- Neil Young, who was in Nashville to appear on Willie Nelson's Crossroads special filmed at Third Man, recorded one song in it, too.
