CHECK OUT PHOTOS FROM LAST YEAR!

According to the National Men's Health Foundation, over 7,000,000 men have not visited a doctor in the past ten years. With men being so reluctant to visit the doctor on a regular basis, Lafayette's Rock Station, 93-5 'KHY has committed to help make a difference in men's lives and improving men's health.

93-5 'KHY has teamed up with The American Cancer Society to reach out to the local male audience and offer an opportunity that will stimulate men to see their physicians on an on-going basis and not wait until the problem is too severe to treat.

An annual check up is the most effective means as a first line of defense and the easiest preventative step for all diseases. If only guys took care of themselves like they do their cars, just imagine how many health problems could be stopped at the start. Men wouldn't let five years go by without changing their oil or spark plugs.

93-5 'KHY hopes to bring these problems to the forefront and help men understand the importance of self-improvement. This is a humorous way to tackle such a serious issue. KHY hopes to grab men's attention with an unconventional approach that will get men into the doctor's office.
